We made our way through this challenging past year and our mentors and mentees are ready to enjoy summer. New Circle Mentors began the month of June by gathering together to reconnect, discuss the upcoming season, and participate in a training session that included information on first aid and recognizing signs of abuse.
Now that COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted statewide, our newest mentoring matches are finally getting to spend some time together in person. Mentors have shared stories of mentees engaging in creative art projects and fun sports activities. While all of us are enjoying the fresh air and seemingly new experiences that this summer brings, we are also looking forward to regrouping in a fun and relaxing setting in August with our annual trip to the Addison County Field Days.
