A Note from the Director of New Circle Mentoring

Spring is here!

Vermonters experience a lift in spirits as green growth begins to appear. The transition from snow storms and freezing temperatures to yellow daffodils and warmer weather provides the perfect setting for New Circle’s mentor matches. Mentors and mentees will begin enjoying simple things: late sunny afternoons, sitting by the lake, and indulging in the popular Vermont treat — the creemee.

As we welcome new mentees into the New Circle Mentoring program, our hearts continue to go out to the many children that need support. Russia’s deplorable war on the people of Ukraine is a human disaster taking a devastating toll on Ukraine’s children. We are asking the Safer Society community to help us donate a total of $1,500 by April 15th to the UNICEF fund for the children of Ukraine. New Circle Mentoring continues to receive mentee referrals from school counselors. Safer Society is welcoming new mentors who can fill this need. Interested in learning more about this role? Visit: safersociety.org/become-a-mentor
