New Circle Mentoring Receives a $5,200 Vermont Mentoring Grant from Mentor VT!

New Circle Mentoring is one of the initiatives of Safer Society Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to provide services and resources for preventive and restorative responses to sexual and social violence. The goal of the mentoring program is to support mentees academically, psychologically, and emotionally so that they can overcome the obstacles on their paths to healthy adulthood. Mentors help mentees build social connections and support their learning and extracurricular activities, all of which encourage resilience and emotional competence in our mentees.

Note from the Director – November

Mentoring matches once again had the opportunity to pick apples at Happy Valley Orchards. Apple picking is an activity that can be enjoyed at any age and we are thrilled that some of our long-term mentoring pairs are still enjoying this autumnal activity. The program is also pleased that our mentees are back to school with in-person learning. Our mentors played a vital role during the isolating times of the pandemic
