A Big THANK YOU to Happy Valley Orchards and Mountain Mac Cider Company in Middlebury!
Mentoring matches once again had the opportunity to pick apples at the orchard during prime harvest time. Apple picking is an activity that can be enjoyed at any age and we are thrilled that some of our long-term mentoring pairs are still enjoying this autumnal activity.
During their visit, each mentoring pair picked a peck of different apples, including McIntosh, Honeycrisp, Red Delicious, and Vermont Gold. Naturally, the pairs could not leave without also tasting Happy Valley’s heavenly cider donuts and fresh apple cider!
