Lawson’s Finest Liquids of Waitsfield has selected New Circle Mentoring as one of their 2022 Sunshine Fund donation recipients. We encourage our readers to visit the Lawson’s Finest Liquids taproom to enjoy a hearty brew and fantastic customer service—especially between September 16th and 30th of this year, when your donations to the Sunshine Fund will benefit New Circle Mentoring.
Lawson’s Finest launched their Sunshine Fund in 2018, when they opened their Waitsfield brewery, taproom and retail store. The Sunshine Fund harnesses the generosity of their taproom guests with the goal of helping local communities thrive. Lawson’s Finest provides their staff with living wages and generous benefits. There is no tip obligation in the taproom, however, if guests choose to leave a donation, 100% is given to local charitable endeavors. New Circle Mentoring is thrilled to receive the support of the Lawson’s Taproom and their guests!
Launched in Addison County in 2017, New Circle Mentoring provides one-on-one mentoring services to Vermont children from primary school through high school who have been separated from one or more parents or are in the foster care system. Mentors are carefully recruited, trained, and matched with mentees, and each match is supervised by a Clinical Director, a retired school counselor with decades of experience working with at-risk children. New Circle’s goal is to support children academically, psychologically, and emotionally so that they can overcome the obstacles on their paths to healthy adulthood.
Lawson’s Sunshine Fund is a win for everyone—great customer service, delicious foods and brews, awesome music and charitable giving! To learn more about how your donation supports New Circle Mentoring, visit https://www.safersociety.org/new-circle-mentoring/ or call (802) 247-3132.
