On August 7th, a group of New Circle mentors and mentees visited the annual Addison County Fair & Field Days for the second time. We had a fun day, petting the animals, eating fair food and, of course, seeking the thrill of the rides.
This time around, it wasn’t just the kids that enjoyed the rides. Carnival tickets were passed out to the adults as well. It was an adventure for some and old hat for others! Mentees palled around and pooled their tickets to make sure they each got to enjoy every attraction possible.
It has been a joy for me to watch as our mentees and mentors establish lasting friendships.
