The Middlebury Natural Foods Co-op runs campaigns that are referred to as Rally for Change. Customers are asked to round up their totals when cashing out to support a specific program or organization within the community. We were excited when the Co-op chose the New Circle Mentoring program as the beneficiary of the latest campaign. We were also given the opportunity to staff a table at the Co-op and help educate people about the need for mentoring at-risk children and how we’ve developed New Circle into a unique approach to this important work.
We are thrilled to announce that the customers rounded up $1,769. Our amazing Co-op matched this, bringing the total donation to the mentoring program to $3,538! This donation will be used to continue to offer group activities to the mentoring matches as well as expand the number of at-risk children served in Addison County.
