Get Involved

Through our community, we are able to continue our founder’s work of prison reform advocacy, with special emphasis on mitigating the impact of mass incarceration on the millions of American children and families adversely affected by parental incarceration. There are several ways to get involved with our efforts from making a donation to help support our programs to contributing your time and expertise to this important work.

Your generous contribution will help us grow and expand our programs, such as the New Circle Mentoring, which are developed to reach more at-risk youth in the community.

Learn More

Every year, some two million at-risk youths in the U.S. have at least one parent currently in prison or jail. Learning more about Parental Incarceration is the first step towards helping these children.

Contribute Your Time & Expertise

The Fay Honey Knopp Institute has developed a Workshop program for professionals who work with at-risk children. Workshop topics have included: school based interventions for children of incarcerated parents, trauma-informed practices and mentoring children of incarcerated parents. Do YOU have expertise that could be re-purposed to train professionals who work with at-risk children? If so, please contact our executive director Mary Falcon at:
